  Armenian High Tech Council of America (ArmenTech)

   The Armenian High Tech Council of America, Inc. (ArmenTech) was formed to promote and support the creation and development of technology-based businesses in Armenia. ArmenTech's mandate is to utilize the collective expertise of our membership to support and enhance the success of companies in the software and high-tech sector in Armenia. ArmenTech has recently been incorporated in Massachusetts as a non-profit corporation and has applied for 501 (C) 3 status.
  Many of ArmenTech's members are proven entrepreneurs and executives that have already generated millions of dollars in economic value in high-tech companies in the US. Other members have already created significant business in Armenia. ArmenTech today has 20-30 key members that have held meetings in Boston, the Silicon Valley, and New York. ArmenTech is the core leadership of this group of IT professionals that will be growing quickly in the near future and will be opening new branches in Armenia, Europe, and  throughout the Armenian Diaspora.
      The objectives of ArmenTech are:

  •   To encourage the successful development of the high-tech and IT sectors in the Republic of Armenia with the intent of providing employment and improving the economy;

  •   To support the efforts of providing the infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and competitive telecommunications services necessary to support the incubation and expansion of software, e-commerce, Internet, and other high-tech companies in Armenia;

  •   To assist in the development of professional training programs in software engineering, project management, application development, and IT services marketing;

  •   To promote the education of high school and university students in Armenia, preparing them for careers in the high-tech and software industries.
